Mitch Ashmore

Owner and Executive Director of AJ Building and Grounds Services originated from a family cleaning service that started in 1982. Mitch is a certified building engineer skilled in all phases of building maintenance, janitorial and project management. Anticipating real estate trends he founded and transformed Ashmore Janitorial to AJ Building and Grounds Services Inc, a complete and comprehensive janitorial service exclusive to Condominium Associations, Town Home Associations and Multi-family complex (or apartment) owners. Mitch’s vast working knowledge of the janitorial business along with hand picking our key employees enabled AJ the ability to expand and enhance our Building & Grounds Service. This is why AJ shall at all times provide a high quality janitorial service while maintaining the friendly, courteous service that a family business provides to their clients.

Nancy Ashmore

New Business & Quality Control Manager. Nancy works with the AJ Team to promote good business relations, provide relative educational materials, and meet with clients, both new and existing. Nancy is a Real Estate Broker and Certified Property Manager. Before her career in real estate management, Nancy worked with Mitch hands on, performing janitorial services ranging from cleaning common areas to snow removal and grass cutting. Understanding the needs and expectations of board members, property managers and our janitorial staff, she provides ongoing support and quality assurance to both our clients and staffing.

Billy Kalinowski

Building Engineer and On-Site Manager, he has been a key employee with AJ Buildings and Grounds since its formation. Bill is keen with maintenance and technical issues including intercom systems, boiler controls and communication/security systems. Like Mitch you will see Bill on your property cleaning, addressing maintenance issues, and overseeing our cleaning staff. Bill is bi-lingual in English, Spanish and Polish. All of our key employees are on site liaisons that will provide timely and courteous response to your building cleaning and maintenance needs.
